was this an afterthought as not on prefacelift and being a tall chap i have no chance of seeing 60 on the speedo even with seat right back and down, is this something that can be upgraded as dont think mr plod will listen when i tell him i,ve got no idea how fast i'm going soz! i can see 50 and 80 haha

 I'm in the process of fitting an adjustable column to my 96 Elite .

 PS. I was told they didn't fit them to the earlier cars because of trouble trying to get them to work with the Airbag .

Miniface lift have a tilt column, IIRC there's a how-to on swapping them over.
