i think £1000 is a really good price since its got a full stainless steel exhaust system wont need replacing ,,, had a new clutch kit and dual mass flywheel 400 ood quid spent so that wont need doing ,,, i think £1000 is a bargin price for a 2003 thats had alot of work done on it already ...

if im worng correct me ,, i think if you  spend £10 , £50  or £100 gettin it fixed you got a great car for a great price..

I may well be intereted in this. What does it need apart from a coil pack ? If I bought it it would mean that I would currently have 3 cars on the drive, which will go down like a lead balloon. ::)
I might be able to arrange a lift up there on Monday if thats ok ?
Do you know what make the LPG system is ? and are you sure it works ok ?

im not sure what work it needs , all i can tell you is it has a missfire ,, only think i think it will need aswell is a Dual Mass Airflow meter ..

yeh moday should be ok what time would it be if possible ??

and yeh the LPG does work as i used it a few times before it got the missfire ,, and ive tested it once while its got the missfire as people kept asking if it ran on LPG with the missfire ,, yes it does ,, seems to run a little better aswell ,,, anymore questions feel free to ask

I dont know a lot about LPG sytems tbh, might have the name on the ECU or the tank ??
If the mass air flow meter is thought to be causing a problem try unplugging it. It will run on a default setting afaik but the problem wont be there so you will be able to tell if thats the cause.
Assuming the misfire is caused by the coil pack, are there any other faults or problems with the car ?
If my mate could run me up there on Monday, I would be hoping to get there early afternoon if you would be around then.

ok ill have a look in the morning for you fella ,,, the MAF is unplugged at the moment and it does run alot better ,, still has a missfire but no where near as bad when plugged in so yeh maybe just a few new bits ,,

i wouldnt really call it a problem as its never bothered me and never bothered the previous owner , when starting the car the starter motor makes a noise , previous owner said it did it when he got it and it still does it now but causes no problems been like that for a few years and still works 100% apart  from the bit of noise .. i cant think of any problems or anything that i have seen or noticed on the car if im honest ,, just needs a tiday up thats bout it ..

Not overly bothered about noisy starter tbh. Sounds like it needs a MAF, coil pack and a cambelt change and maybe a good service ?
I will check wether I can get up there Monday, and if I can I will PM you for location details.
After Monday I am working 6 night shifts in a row so it would be another week before I could try to arrange anything, so hopefully it will be Monday. :y
