same engine ?

is the 2.2 engine thats fitted to the Omega the same engine thats fitted to the Vectra B ???

Sir DTM is the expert but in a word, no they are not exactly the same engine.

Haven't checked tech specs but I can tell you that the vectra engine is chain driven (not without it's own problems!) and the omega is your usual cam belt jobbie.

Throw another iron into the fire then, what about 2.2 astra???

The 2 units are very different units.
