Omega General Help / Re: engine oil flush - national tyres
« on: 10 December 2012, 20:25:50 »
Unless your engine is in a real mess i:e your oil is thick sludge, don't have the flush it can cause problems and you are just better off changing your oil and filter again after a 500 mile stint that will clean things out good enough

Nope, wasn't mine. Not had anywhere near the interest I'd expect with that :y

Thought I'd let it go to someone to might get good use from it... but I've no problems keeping it in the toolbox on the odd occasion I may help an Omega owner.. :y :y

Omega General Help / Re: Standard Spare Wheel/Tyre
« on: 02 December 2012, 18:27:35 »
Yes it will be ok to get you home and get you to garage to get fixed but don't leave it on too long especially in wet. I have just binned mine and got a full size alloy wheel for spare I hate those things and think they should be banned. JMO ::)

Does it fit in the spare wheel well then ? I thought they were too wide :-\ :-\ :-\
Yup it does fit but it is a tight fit, and the cover does cover it, and I have the 235/45/17 so most others would deffinately fit

Omega General Help / Re: Oil cooler bypass???
« on: 30 November 2012, 18:55:09 »
just makesure you use crowfoot or split socket on the oil pipe unions - not open ended spanners as they can cause the unions to distort
Cheap enough from e-bay
