Hooked up the Maxiscan 509, which was kindly given to me by an OOF member.Can that do gearbox, as its just a OBDII scanner...
No codes either stored or pending.
If the gearbox was in limp, which sounds like it was if it just picked 1 gear, there will be codes in the gearbox.And what codes are in the engine and gearbox?
No codes or warning lights.....the car just got very hot after a while at 50 MPH, which is 5000 rpm in second gear.
