A couple of weeks ago me and a mate took our cars around a local race track for a 'track attack' they was holding there...
My mate was in his Vectra 2.2 estate (soon to be a 2.2 SC 8) :o )
And me in my Omega 2.5 :)

Will be doing this again on the 7th of next month..
If you ever wanted to get your foot down in a safe environment, take it to a race track... they let you go as fast and as sideways as you want as long as you aren't being dangerous :)

Wouldnt be a bad idea, but a lot of members on here seem to be a while away from... maybe another track thats a lot more central to members who want a go...?

Ebay :-y for about £40... They do require you to clean underneath them though from time to time...

Watchibg is as good as being on track, but you could always go as passenger for £5 a time...

Its a shit load of fun TBH, wild all depends on how much you put your foot down..
It takes a lot for an Omega to let go, but when they do you wake up... LOL
Was supposed to be on track again on Saturday, but the weather kinda said no, so me and me mate went to watch instead... Didnt want to risk falling off the track, it is our family daily driver at the end of the day LOL

Yeah definitely looked fun i will have to look into doing one next year when I've finished tinkering with the omega lol :y

No not at all...
Can get 10 laps at £20 per session, or buy 3 sessions for £50....
Car doesn't even have to be road legal either... and you can go as sideways as you wish, as long as the track officials dont think you being dangerous... if you look like you're in control but going sideways they leave you alone LOL
