Title: Man flu
Post by: Bigron on 17 June 2018, 18:59:31
I've just come down with man flu, which as we now all know is by far the most virulent type on the planet.
Apparently, the only way to tone down the symptoms involves Joanne Whalley in a nurse's uniform, carrying a pot of cream!
I think it's available on the NHS..... :D

Hop on a plane somewhere... That way you can feel better with yourself knowing that you have made 180 other people feel worse ;)

Cant help with Joanne Whalley but a few years back on a BA Flight from Glasgow to Heathrow I did sit next to joanna lumley who had the window seat, mid flight the Flight Crew were dishing out Tea, Coffee and Scones with mini Jars of Strawberry Jam and Cottage Cream, She refused Hers, in fact her exact words were "Oh No!", with that I said to the Stewardess "I'll have Hers", and proceeded to tuck in, I can remember it now, all I got from her was a dirty look from the corner of my eye as I was stuffing into the Jam and Cream, nothing was said but at point as I was looking out of the window, she did say "Youve Got Cream on your nose" and then proceeded to look the other way to look at the window.

Well it did involve a Joanne and Cream but thats as far as it went Ron,  ;D get well soon.  :y

DG, it would be more beneficial if I went and sat in the House of Commons for a while, yes?
Thanks for your good wishes, Zirk, but sitting next to Joanne Lovely and all you could do was to steal her scones and cream? Well, really!  :-X

Pretty much the same as me, then - firstly Bow, then East Ham.
She knows that she is gorgeous, so no point in telling her so, but as an actress she would love to hear how great you think her performances were; e.g. in The New Avengers? We are all cheeky Cockneys in the East End!  ;D

Ron, best summer cure for man flu is to sweat it out with a 20 mile ride on your pushbike. :y :y :y

Thanks for the compliment, Dave, in thinking that I've got 20 minutes in me!
Although those thoughts about Joanne Whalley and the pot of cream got me quite hot enough      :-[
