Terrible crash in Scotland

That is terrible, it appears reading early reports that the driver had some kind of 'medical episode' but is being treated in hospital  :-\ :'(

A shitty thing to happen any time of year, but seems even more unfair in the run up to what, for most, should be a joyous, happy time  :'(

What an awful situation, even more so at this time of the year.  Unfortunately you can't argue with 18 tonnes of runaway lorry.
