Noisy aircon pump
« on: 31 March 2007, 16:35:09 »

The aircon pump on my omega 2.0 gls auto became very noisy yesterday and I was hoping to get around it temporarily by fitting a new belt and bypassing the pump. The mechanic ordered a belt for a non aircon model but it was the wrong size. Has anyone fitted a smaller belt and if so what size?
Thanks.

I have done exactly this, but it was on a V6 so i cant tell you a size. You could measure it out bypassing the compressor which is what i did ;) I think belts go up in 25mm intervals
