Title: Eeyore :)
Post by: Webby the Bear on 27 October 2014, 17:33:46
Had his arches done. And allowed the 3 weeks of non-cleaning (apparently that's the length of time to PROPERLY dry  :o)

Even had a man at the car wash place asked me how I kept it so tidy  8)

Looks the nuts mate.

Set of elite wheels maybe, and lowered slightly?

Always best to wash yourself mind, use a lambswool mitt, 2 bucket method and a nice micro fibre drying towel, then it'll preserve that lovely paintwork.

Thanks mate  :y

TBH detailing isn't my forte but this time I am going to borrow a mate's Rug Doctor and get all the human slime out the seats and carpets  :y

Re the wheels / lowering... I'm going to be honest I don't like the look of it lowered. but I do like the Elite wheels. However, I want to keep him as stock as possible  :y

Fair shout, each to their own.

Not detailing mate, just careful car washing.

Looks nice and tidy  :y

Just got mine back after she went in for both rear wheel arches,  inside door arches, rear doors and drivers door.  There was a few scabs appearing andnwad just starting to bubble on the underside of arches so hopefully nipped in the bud  :y

She looks pretty good now  :)

Will post a few pics weekend when I have washed and waxed her and detailed them wheels  :y

Garage asked what wax did I use as is was beading off better than the new cars they have in !!!!  A few goes with chamois and she was dry !!!!

Stand by for pics ...... :D

Thanks guys,

Good stuff Dr Andy. :)

I've got one more small area of rust from rear N/S sill going upwards to near where you step in to the car in the rear..... once i get ''proficient'' at welding i'm going to do it myself :)
