Eyup!
« on: 26 December 2006, 19:33:47 »

Now then, eyup folks.

The name's Dan and I've had my Omega since August 06 having had to switch from my beloved Vectra to an auto due to a progressive disability which now sees me using a wheelchair and driving on hand controls.

My Omega is a facelift 2.5 V6 CD estate auto (phew!!) which is ideal for me as I can fit my wheelchair in the back without dismantling and it still has space for 4 people and luggage and the power to pull it all at a reasonable rate.

Modifications so far include Alfred Bekker hand controls for accelerator and brake, Bekker steering handle, full Nokia handsfree phone and Pioneer MP3 player.

I'm one of the admin team from vectra-sport.com and previous to the Omega I had 3 Vectras.

It is indeed one of those knobs, though they come in several shapes and can even include gloves that attach if you have a weak grip etc etc.

Ah well no point moaning about it, just gotta get on with it.
I've always like the Omega but then I'm a fan of big cars in general and it's certainly a big car.
