John, thank you for your efforts. It is indeed for the 'vauxhall' on the boot lid.

Galling though it is, these unskilled boys have agents who get them the best deals in a sport that is awash with money. Christ knows what they do with it all as most of the year they are training and playing, so apart from maybe going out for a meal that's fits the dietary advice that have been given by the club, what the hell do they do with it all ? Suppose family and hangers on do well ...

Picked my car up this evening from Serek after he completed some bits for me to get it through the MOT.

Home with another ticket for a year. Usual friendly and excellent service from Serek.

Thank you  :y

I put up two of them out the back. They are extremely good. I have a 10W and a 20W up and they light up the area very well. No replacing the led unit, though, when it goes it's a new light.

When I say unit, I mean a new lamp. Mine is 50watt and cost just over £45. When it lights up, it's as close to daylight as you can get at night. A very bright, blue tinge light.

Sparky replaced my knackered halogen with an LED unit at the back of my house. It is very, very bright and throws its glare much further than the halogen unit.

Dependent on what your layout is, careful adjustment may be required so as not to bother neighbours, they are that bright.

Take her up the A1 to Huntingdon and let Serek cast his expert eye over your car. He will tell you all the work required and will do an excellent job.

You won't regret it.

Good luck with that . I had them out 8 times to fix the trim .. the last time the trim blew off along the dual carriageway  :D ;D

Same happened to me with Autoglass. I then insisted they fitted GM tracks as the fitters told me that the pattern tracks were not deep and wide enough to grip the rubbers. Once the GM tracks were fitted, it was spot on. All the fitters were decent guys but they were working with shite pattern tracks.

I have a similar problem with rust in the windscreen recess and Autoglass have refused to fit the new screen until the repair is done to their satisfaction.BUT what they don't realise is.. that with that policy they have forced me to take the car of the road for the last 3 weeks as it's been virtually impossible to get anyone here to take on the repairs. And also unbeknown to me Autoglass have refunded my £75 excess and not told me why....what's that all about? Anyway I've managed to find someone to do the work, but I've had to arrange recovery to move the car over to the workshop which is 16 miles away..but at least it's finally going this morning and having read the comments about the trims then I think I'll pay for new ones, that's if they are easy to get :-\

Autoglass replaced my screen the other day. All new trims/ rubbers were supplied ( there were lots of boxes and plastic bags ) and fitted. Have to say, they did a very neat job. Got it done free as Autoglass agreed to take care of my excess as they'd turned up the week before with the wrong screen.

I have 44s but I don't have any above the bath or shower. 65 should be sufficient to protect from shower spray. Please note I'm not a spark ! Just my tuppence worth.

Sorry to hear of the awful position you both find yourselves in.

First and foremost, speak to your mortgage provider and explain the situation to them. Then find a local pension advisor, who'll know the ins and outs of this. You may find that they will afford you one hours advice for free.

Just be up front with creditors who need to know. Mortgage, any secured loans, other loans, Gas, leccy etc.

Good luck with it all.
