So check your MID config, press and hold both the S and R buttons on wiper stalk for 3 secs....
You will get a display like:
047 03
29885
The '047' is the config code (Code Index), the '03' is the software version (Code Version), and the 29885 is the pulses/km (has to vary with wheel circumference.
Pre 1998 (pre minifacelift) - be aware, 1994/1995 MIDs may have different codes...
