Well if thats what you want for it, then thats what you what, think your struggle on here at that price unless it really is mint, but thats my personal view, think AutoTrader is your best bet.

My opinion is Ebay, rather than Autotrader.
Put it on an auction with a very low start price and a sensible reserve, rather than a fixed price.
The less 'common o' garden ' cars (especially classic cars, and now rarer higher spec Omegas such as Elites) all seem to sell well on Ebay if advertised well.
I have sold a 51 3.2 Elite saloon, and an 03 2.6 Elite saloon, both approx. 105k, both very clean, and very pleased with the final figures (both more than reserve), and both in excess of your figure. Neither were silver though - one Nocturno Blue and the other Sapphire Black, which probably helped..... Just have to dodge the Ebay messers though.
The last one had nearly 2000 views, and around 175 watchers, so the interest is still out there for the right cars.
But as with anything that is being sold, superb photos, and a good clear and informative description are key.
Just my opinion, though - others on here may disagree.

.
Good advice , sold my 2.6 on the bay a member on here bought it got exactly what I wanted for it good pics & good description re service history etc will really help good luck with the sale.

Thank you all for your advice. Being lazy, i thought I would put it on here first before resorting to ebay/autoT. I will take it to my east euro washers next week and get some pix. :y

I recently saw an Elite for sale on Ebay. How the owner thought they could sell it with wheelie bins pictured at the side of the 'unwashed' car, and the interior pictures had water bottles, rubbish and mud over the interior mats which were scrunched up under the throttle and brake pedal. Looked a straight car but poorly advertised and the description was barely a couple of sentences. Needless to say, it didnt sell...
-
I shall make sure I don't photograph my bins then. :y

25K a year since you got it. That makes my 22K a year look meh

I wish that had been for sale when I paid £525 for my 3.2 MV6 Saloon In Z20M Petrol Blue. Mind you is had a dented door, pulled to the left and had 165K and leaked oil.
Now it has 208K and doesn't.
