cheers x25... i'll ad a note at the top saying the engine should be warm, and then left to rest for 5 mins.

Car goes on the ramps.....nice hot engine so apprentice usually burns himself with the hot oil
Even better entertainment if i take one of my veccys.....coz the oil filter is situated right next the exhaust down pipe from the manifold......first he burns himself with the hot oil then burns himself again trying to get the oil filter off

4 pot is so easy to get at though, if it is tight, you can normally still get off by hand. V6 is a little more of a reach, and therefore less easy if on tight...
Only differences are sump bolt is on very bottom of sump on v6, and filter is near rear of passenger side of block (next to crank sensor) - need to ideally remove front wheel for decent access.
Forgot about the V6 sump being different. I might jack up project B and get some piccys of that.
Although that will be after the 24 hour elapsed, so I might need admin powers?

- For that no, you V6 people will have to find it on your own Only kidding, think i have a piccy someware of the V6 oil filter. I may get another one, and also of the tools need for you V6 people.
Thanks for the replys everyone, pictures for me help a huge amount when doing jobs. As you can print them out and compare them to your own car, also its a lot easier to find things compared to a text description.

Ah ok cheers, to me was very tight, i could't do it up tight enough!
