Oi! I’ll keep a look out for you :o . ;D I’ve a moates ostrich 28 pin rom which had to be desoldered and resoldered on the Evo Ecu then on harness to emulator so as we can connect to laptop etc and map.  But I was wondering has this ChipPower eBay stuff been given a try on here?

It’s about £115 but I’d like to know the parameters they are supposed to be altering and would the original ecu learn and then cancel it out perhaps if it worked anyway?

For the 3.2, its a re-flash.  Any piggyback device is a waste of time, but I'd suggest you already know that.

TBH, and off-the-shelf maps for a production NA petrol isn't going to add much.  Wild claims of 10% are, well, wild.  If mapped specifically for your car, after you have done other mods, you may realise something worthwhile.  But ultimately, the standard 3.2 is a normally aspirated, indirect injected, low compression ratio production engine.

The car is too heavy to be quick by todays standards, with its compromised, penny pinched design, based on a (better) 30yr old design.
