Hello all,

The offside headlamp on my Omega has gone all hazy and unfortunately will not polish up no matter what I try to do. Really the only answer is to replace it. So if anyone has a headlamp offside in good condition for sale please contact me. The car is a 2.6 CDX but I think it is the standard lights as on the CD as no washer jets are fitted.

im sure there is a how to in the maintenance guides to polish headlamps. will save you a few quid.  :y

Yes you are correct there is a maintenance area with a fix, but mine is to far gone. Spent to much time on it already and it will fail it next MOT because of it.

I thought CDX had HID's on them?, if so may have a set of an MV6.

Mine is listed as a CDX but seems to miss the nice alloys and headlight washers, which makes me think they are just standard.

Will have to check on Monday after night shift but I'm 99% I have a good set, if you only want the lens part and have a hair dryer I could just post the lens to you for some beer tokens :y

Only takes 10 min to change over :y

Thanks that sounds like a plan. Will have to look up how to change the lens but it hopefully is not that difficult. I haven't got a hairdryer, not used one for years ha ha, but my wife has one. A suitable amount of beer tokens will be donated to yourself.

Not gegging in but I have a headlight with a busted casing but good lens, if someone would rather not cannibalise a good set !

I don't mind who supplies the lens cover as long as it doesn't uneccesary inconvenience anyone, but I really require it soon.

Borlocks >:( mine had a crack in the side of the lens that couldn't be seen with the seal on so Kieran still needs this sadly, can anyone help him out pls ?
