Basically, its the same core as MS FSX. I understand that when MS dumped the Aces studio, the rights were sold off to Lockheed Martin. So much of the stuff used in FSX will work with this Sim.
I personally have not tried it yet, but the guys in the group I fly with are testing it. :y
Not sure on the multiplayer capabilities yet, but if it works with IVAO and VATSIM it should be great.
If we get higher fps, and retain the main properties of FSX, this could be a winner.
I'll let you know how my pals get on with the testing :y
I assume as the same core is being used, it will still need a meaty computer to run decently, despite higher framerates.

Yes, that's right, T. It is basically FSX – I understand they even hired some ex-MS developers to work on it. :y

BTW, from what I have been reading, quite a few people are using it in conjunction with REX Essentials (which, until today, I'd never heard of). Do you have it and is it any good?  ???

Not got REX Essentials....but I have a feeling that at some point in the past I used A REX product.
At the moment, I am reloading all my FS stuff, as I had a 'hiccup' with it. I am using Flight Envirement Extreme, which I assume is something like Essentials.
I'll have to gen up on it :y
