Just get a V12 it'll be one fun ownership experience  :-X ;D

Weren't these around £80k - £100k new back in the day?

Riddled with expensive problems wherever you look no doubt... Always have liked the S class, Just not the potential ownership cost / misery.

Jetex used to be recommended on OOF, Not sure if they still are or not the best option available out there now. Full Jetex: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110833233555

I've got a stainless 2-1 with one centre silencer, I was going to get the whole Jetex but couldn't justify the cost. But wasn't completely happy with the way the car sounded. So tried a straight pipe from the centre silancer (no back box) was fun for awhile but not good for cruising... The drone never gave me a headache but it was tiring.

So bought a Jetex back box and it's been like that for almost a year now no issues, Sounds good and looks good to me anyway. This back box: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/300606283576?_mwBanner=1 I didn't pay this much I bought mine directly from Jetex but can't find it on their site now.

Cheapest quote I could find locally for the PS4's was £280 fitted for x2 tyres... Might have to do some searching online.

With all the potential expensive problems lurking around some of these vehicles such as the X5, Range Rover etc... Why not stick with something you know inside and out? If / when a very good example Omega pops up buy it. Job done. Unless you actually need a 4x4?  :-\

My understanding is that when a company runs 'out of stock' of particular items, and they have no forecasted date for new stock, they increase the price to a ridiculously high figure so as not to get any buyers. When the item comes back in stock, they reduce down it back to the 'normal' price.
I read that there was some benefit to them regarding listing fees in doing this, but I didn't think lighters were that difficult to re stock?

+1 yep that's what their doing  :y

Always amazes me how poeple try and sell stuff on the Bay at stupid prices.

He's one I spotted the other day, pack of lighters that you can buy from Poundland for, yep, £1.

Yours on ebay for 100 quid, does include free postage though, amazingly he sold 41 of them??  :o

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-3Pk-Bull-Brand-Cigarette-Electronic-Lighter-With-Led-Light-Gas-Refillable-/261482916699?var=&hash=item3ce198ab5b:m:mn2rGrd0Mh6iehWj-NlIerg

If you click on the 41 sold number it'll take you to the purchase history for that item, As you can see they have been selling for £1.99... I've seen this often when I noticed something that would be £20 but it's listed at a redicilous price. From what I understand they do this when they are low or out of stock until they get more stock as to not have to pay to relist the item.

One thing I really dislike about eBay especially when it comes to cars... Is the distance they quote.

For example it says that this Omega is 165 miles away.... But it's actually more like 215 miles...

Does look a nice example from the 2 images of the car, Kept in a heated garage for 6 years should have help keep the tin worm at bay. One thing I did notice was the side indicator cover is orange where it should be clear/frosted white.  ???

Another Japanese oddball, Pretty sure it's been discussed before. Some liked it some didn't... nothing new there then  ;D

Better looking than some jap cars, Doubt I'd own one personally though, But haven't driven or seen on in the flesh so will reserve judgment.

Meyle HD on all of mine, found the last GM ones I had only lasted about 6 months (20K).

Same here, no complaints so far. 2 years about 12k miles.
