As an Everton fan I'm dreading work tomorrow :'(
-
Of course I was watching, Al, too nervous and fidgety to post up on here. That's the best, and most unlikely, result I've ever witnessed in all my years of watching Liverpool.

I really don't see why. It was never that way when I was there. I would support Everton against a foreign team any day.

Foreign team?
How many English born players are in the Liverpool squad?.........same applies to Everton...
-
The names of the Liverpool goal scorers don't sound overly British, English, ........or scouser to me. :)
-
I remember the Anfield iron man Tommie Smith score in the 1977 European cup final.
I think Thomas Smith may be an English name. :)

You're talking to yourself again, football expert. :)

I know enough to know the English premier league is anything but.
Two foreign players for each team should be the maximum.

Another great turnaround tonight by Spurs. Makes the final a different proposition for Liverpool.

The uninformed stereotype would be....... ::)
Cocky untrustworthy bed-wetting shandy drinkers from the south....... against coarse tight fisted uneducated but hard as nails men from the north.
But hang on, this is simply not true.
90% of the players are foreign born and the managers come from Argentina and Germany. :D
I wonder what Shanks, Paisley and Fagin would have made of a German manager. I doubt they would have been pleased. ::)
Well done to both teams :y.....but a match that has very little to do with the excellence of English football.
I predict the southern shandy drinkers will kick the shit out of the gobby scousers. :y

As with all football fans, I don't care who wins as long as it's a good, clean game. ;D

Like most people's, it's patchy. But I do seem to have the knack of picking the long shots, and of leaving it alone if I can't decide. Hence, there is not really much to tempt me in this particular match.
