on a pre 98.5 car, there is a really shitty job of wiring the carin loom to car. will also need the simple job of moving tc switch, but you;ll struggle to get a matching TC switch if yours is pre minifacelift

yeah my tc switch is at the side of the radio but i will find some where to put that
 :y
Easy enough to move to switch bank above radio, but a matching button is harder to find.

Are they soft or hard touch ones?
May have a couple of the hard touch ones from my heaps of Vectra spares.

Which one? Phillips Carin or Siemens Navteq?

Yep, drove a few models around Millbrook.

Not impressed with the Autobox - Omega just drops down a peg when you gently press the throttle whereas the Insignia box insists you boot the throttle to the floorboards and hit the kickdown switch before it'll change down.

Apart from that it's a very nicely styled car with reasonable ride quality and the option of 4WD on the V6.

At the time of the Elsie, Vauxhall owned Lotus. That's not the case now.

Not really worth it, you'll have a good credit rating so I wouldn't worry  :y

Well not quite (NB. Astra has 16:4 aspect screen style), question is, where would you move the CID to?

Usually it's rust that kills a car, not that the rust is terminal, just the fact that the car is worth less than the cost of the welding required.

In my case there was no one to claim against or anyone claim against me as I was the third accident on the scene with no one else involved. I just decided to modify the crash barrier then spin a 180 degrees and slide sideways past the fire engine and upturned car in lane 1.

What you cannot see on the first picture is that the road is actually sheet ice, it was nearly impossible to stand up on it. The upturned car was acccident 2, out of shot there are two cars up the embankment - accident 1 and behind the fire engine are another sixteen vehicles - accident 4.

I went for the Saab simply because it's a GM / Cavalier type product with a better public perception to the Ford. (Saab badge IMHO has a better image).

I suppose the other thing to keep in mind is the age of the driver because different age groups will have different views.
