3.2 Multiram Setup
« on: 28 December 2016, 10:41:42 »

I've broken the vac pipe that splits off back of the plenum, the section that runs off brake servo and runs into a joiner. When I changed HBV the little vac that runs off top of this split off.  :(

So need a whole new rear section I think, don't can it be easily replaced on its own?

I might have just the valve bit. Need to work out how to separate, as I need to make one good pipe from 2 knackered ones.

Thanks. Aiming to be in Brackers 7/8th Jan, I might need some of there pipe work as well, the thin stuff. Never worked out how all that plumbs together, sure I'm missing some.

As looking to get CamBelt replaced by that a Gixer fella.  :y

That DTM chap did a good guide. Most Omegas use later type with the 2 reservoirs.

He mentioned it yesterday when we were trying to strike up sufficient enthusiasm to do some cam cover gaskets...   ...before deciding far too cold!

Just buy some appropriate size vacuum hose, fit the one way valve into it and call it done. Just like dozens of Audis etc are repaired every week. Or custom servo installations are done.

Still looking for this, I would like a complete setup from a V6 ideally. As I'm sure I've lost some pipework somewhere  :-\
