...says Nick W...  and rightly so... he did.

The best way of splitting tapers is as he correctly postulated is with two large hammers.

Thanks for showing me the path of righteousness on handling balls  ;D :y

In the age of smart phones and tablets that you don't eat these things should be illegal.  >:(

Anybody have any suggestions on how to remove 27mm Land Rover size ones without spending a fortune?

The Irwin bolt extractors don't go up to that size it seems and I'm not paying £100 plus for the kit the RAC/AA use.

Note : No access to welding equipment

*P.S - on principal I'm not paying LR a penny for the genuine key.

Now then. I'm no expert on Halfords store policy... but I think he might have invalidated his lifetime warranty  :D

Anyone know where I can procure some 15w40 should-be-dirt-cheap-unrefined-tractor oil for less than an arm and a dick?

Resent paying actual money for it when I only pay like 5p a litre for 10w40 semi from Vx  >:(

...I have today purchased a Peugeot/Vauxhall OOF compliant car, for the frankly extortionate sum of £205.  :D

Exhibit A muh lord :

160k Miles... yeah right! and the rest! Must have been clocked before 2006 as the MOT history adds up. Clearly been a taxi for some of it's life.

When you ask someone on ebay for a buy it now price and they respond with "make me an offer".  How the hucking fell am I going to make you an offer on a car I havent even seen?? Reason I'm asking dipshot is to see if you're crazy the cocunut and expecting £5k for a car that's clearly only worth £1k; in which case I won't waste my time coming to look.  ::)

Bought a small Sealey 4-24nm torque wrench from FFX.  No Sealey branding on it at all, just a load of Mao's poundland bullfish.  Is that how they're rolling these days or are FFX selling knock offs?  :-\
