I have for sale a 2003 52 plate CDX estate with leather, 120,818 miles, taxed until end September 2014 and MoT until 19 Jan 2015.
This car was seen at the last Oxford meet, heated seats work and so does air-con.
The car smokes on start up but after that is fine, it has just been serviced and all the carbon build up removed from the inlet manifold. I had the cylinder head off of this to find out why it was smoking and all I could find was a small amount of oil on number one cylinder exhaust valve stems. The valves were checked and are still within tolerance so it must be the guides that have a very small amount of wear, but could not detect any when head was off
In the past year it has had 3 full services with vauxhall parts and new front discs and pads (Vauxhall). New cat back exhaust, poly wishbone bushes fitted with other bushes renewed, new steering idler and track rods fitted.
If I had time I would change the head for another ( parts for sale on forum at the moment) but I just don't have time.
This car would go for good money but I just don't have the time.
I am looking for £700 as the car is, and if you come down before the end of the month can be driven away after that it will be SORN.
