Sorry should have said, cabin smells okay. Its just the water in the footwell that smells. Other Wells are okay but will check grommits. what sealant dis you use?standard clear silicone sealant, yea same as mine, water in footwell was horrible, mine must have been wet for a while before i bought it, cabin was smelly every morning
Is soaking again! Front passenger carpet is bone dry, scuttle drain is also totally clear. Rear door seal looks fine I cannot see any trace of water coming in from that. I really have no idea where this water is coming in from.had the same prob, all four grommets where off mine,smelled like a sewer. wadding in all floor wells was acting like a sponge. i got rid of wadding and front under rubber,put a bead of silicone around drain holes ,replaced grommets, the excess silicone that oozed out i spread back over the top edges of grommet,replaced underlay with standard carpet underlay(works perfect) changed carpets....smell gone and no leaks.make sure ye check all four grommets if ye miss one the smell will not leave
was something about it yonks ago but cant remember specifics... Its the assorted calibration factors for wheel size etc as required by the onboard brains....thnx

You need a Cheapo/Real Tech II or a local garage with a reasonable code reader. If you have (access to) a suitable laptop then buying a Cheapo Tech II would be cheaper in the long run because a garage will charge around the purchase price of a Cheapo Tech II to reset it
