Sadly, Tata in their wisdom, makes it too much effort to disable TC completely. Believe it or not, you have to hold the switch for 10 whole bloody seconds :o. The moment has normally passed by then.

I did own a black XFR but the car in the video is an XFR-S........so 'nuffin to do wiv me guv, honest' :)
