Hello all. Could I interest someone in my Persia red estate?. it does need welding on the front rails and a little in the nearside arch but is otherwise ok bodily. the engine and box work well but the ABS TC probably needs the ECU swapping out as it comes on and goes out when it feels like it. its had front wishbones and the entire exhaust complete with the lambda replaced last year so they should still be good for a while yet.  as for price im not sure what to ask but it needs to go sooner rather than later..

Cheers
Neil.

Can someone help with a little problem I have. basically when I switched on the lights the other day smoke started pouring from the switch so I popped the bonnet and disconnected the battery just to be on the safe side. but now I don't have any instrument panel or radio lights at all and despite checking fuses and swapping the circuit board inside the switch I cannot get any illumination. does anyone have any suggestion as to the problem.

Thanks
All.

I thought today i'd change the oil for a laugh  >:( and when I came to remove the cap from the rest of the housing it wouldn't come as a surprise to hear it never budged at all. so off I went to get the breaker bar on it and after a struggle it seemed to move but on checking the whole bloody thing was turning and to add insult to injury no matter which way I turned the thing I could not get it off the block or could I tighten it. so my question is what can I do to sort it out as I'm slowly going off the damn car.

Omega General Help / Car wont start.
« on: 11 June 2017, 13:59:00 »
Hello all.  I went out earlier to start the car and nothing not even a splutter it just cranks over without any intention of starting yet started fine yesterday. also I don't know whether its anything to do with it but when it does run it seems to be fine when you're not gunning it but utterly useless when trying to overtake anything and theres this hissing noise when you floor it.. i'm lost again so any pointers as to whats wrong with the heap will be appreciated.

Thanks
Neil.

Omega General Help / Help needed welding.
« on: 03 May 2017, 15:43:50 »
Hello all.  Could someone help by welding a couple of areas on my recently acquired omega 2.5 estate?. it needs the inner arch to floorpan area near the seatbelt mount up to near the spring seat and a small area on the sill. now heres the part that will no doubt put everyone off.. at the moment payment would mostly be in the shape of VN51 EAK my 3.2 elite estate which is minus the nearside windows (smashed) but otherwise complete it does have an MOT to pretty much the end of august and runs very well indeed.

Here's hoping someone can help.
Thanks
Neil.

Omega General Help / Strange code result..
« on: 11 April 2017, 18:32:08 »
Hello all.  Earlier I thought I would give the cheap code reader a blast only to find one of the codes it came up with is not on the list. the number is P0705 ? and of course the usual 0420/0430 ones that usually pop up all the time. is it an actual number or should the code reader be ignored.

Thanks
Neil.
