Newbie to Omega Help needed
« on: 01 October 2016, 00:22:30 »

Hi Just got my first Omega 2.6 v6 52 plate and loving it.  :) Got a few issues I could do with a little help with. The rear parking sensors don't seem to work and the sunroof doesn't open although I can hear a noise when I turn the switch. Any help would be much appreciated cheers.

Cant help with the rear sensors as they might be aftermarket type so could be anything...

The sunroof motor is either stuck or needs resyncing to the car...

Dead easy to do...

Switch on ignition
Press upwards the controll knob for the sunroof... it should tilt open a little bit and then close again...
If it doesn't it might be stuck so will need freeing up...

Thanks for the welcome everyone, thanks minifreak, I'll try the sunroof tomorrow. I think the rear sensors are factory fitted, correct me if they never fitted them.
Loving the Omega though, I do have a coolant leak though, Apparently there is a common fault with a plastic something at the rear top of the engine that seems to be the culprit but any feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers
