Im sure it been asked before, so sorry for repeating but can you retrofit Cruise Control in a F/L 2.5TD Auto?

Yes, and from memory you only need a stalk, it should already be active.

would a stalk from a 2.2dti be okay as the 2.5 limits my search slightly  ;D

Pretty sure it has to be compatible with the BMW bits so no  :-\
