Can whoever will be TB's Minister of Transport.....
« on: 11 April 2018, 18:42:47 »

..... ban wide loads from the roads during the day please?  ???  ::)

The M5 south from Bristol was slow, and stop starting this afternoon.  :(  The reason as it turned out when I came across it at Bridgewater was a wide load trundling along taking up the 2 inside lanes!  >:(

It was a silo of some sort and I can't see why wide loads like this can't be restricted to night time. ie between 2000 and 0600 would be fine.  :y

Over to TB's 'Government in Waiting', JC can ooooops off!!  ;D

It's usually 'houses' on the back of trucks on the M62. I think there must be a company that makes these 'static mobile homes' somewhere near Huddersfield.

Most of the mobile homes are made around Hull and Beverly. And there not wide, about 1ft, over hence they use a second man and no escort..

O and Mr stemo they will be doing 90kmh, your just getting in there way dawdling along at 80kmh.

I did nominate Bigron as transport minister, :y :y :y but TB seems to be determined and set his heart on having either Diane Abbot or Caroline Lucas, the soft hearted liberal PM's choice. :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D

For this problem it will probably be Diane Abbot as she is an expert on wide loads. ::) ::) ::)
