Ironically my 19 year old BMW is exempt from the new rules despite the fact that I leave a cloud of smoke behind me when I kick down!     

My 10 year old Mondeo I'm more worried about and will be presented for MOT before 20th May. 

My 25 year old carlton has a non cat emission test ,
even in the latest draft mot manual (from may 29th) it's still worded
"If a vehicle first used before 1 September 2002 is fitted with an engine that's older than the vehicle, you
must test it to the standards applicable for the engine. The vehicle presenter must have proof of the age
of the engine. "

My 28 year old 190D has only one test. If it doesn't smell like a bbq, it passes.

The wife and me are double baby polar bear killers......but, hey ho, who cares as long as it's cheap? 

And plant starvation where you are depriving them of extra servings of CO2. I'm getting this one first where we are all doomed, I say doomed, where STEMO and wifey are going to cause the next ice age through lack of CO2 and end Northern hemisphere civilization.
