Discussed a lot here:

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=142172.0

I find my local dealer decent enough, MOT for £27, wash/vac and good service.

Found the sales man utterly, utterly useless. I asked about the last of the previous shape Insignia Elites, as I noticed they had upgraded/different leather style sports seats, also all came with the TFT speedo display. I wanted to ask what year that came in and few other questions. He just replied "you've got me there, did not know they had those style seats".

So if they sales are falling, might want to look at their rubbish reps!

Eg these type of seats.

I have spoken to the General Manager of my local Caffyns dealership who I have got to know and he is confident that their larger multiple dealership is safe.  I hope he is right!! :o :o ;)

Whilst I would not foresee me buying a new car from Vauxhall for the foreseeable future, I do buy a lot of bits from my local TC dealer...  ...and it was a PITA during that period when they didn't do TC.

If that supply dries up, I have to start looking at other options, which given my current outstanding problems with both halves of the ECP/CP4L abortion of a company, means limited choices :(

I take it dealers who loose the VX franchise will become VX specialists?

One of the larger VX dealers locally made this transition about four years ago... Still supply genuine VX parts,  but not the new cars.
