MoT failure

(1/5) > >>

Doctor Gollum:
Well, that was inevitable...

It failed.

Rear of both sills missing, front of the os sill now has a 5" hole in it and one of the brake pipes front to rear is donald.

Oh and leaving the test, the EML came on ::)

On a positive note, he made no comment on the headlights :D

So, do I 1. Buy another Omega estate, keep the recently replaced suspension and scrap the rest;
2. Get it repaired; or 3, sell it as is and buy something else?

Choices, choices...

Field Marshal Dr. Opti:
Ask TB to raid the OOF emergency fund, Al.

I believe £10,000 can be made available to senior members in need of a replacement car. :)

Nick W:
You can do the pipe for a fiver in bits and some work. Reroute it if necessary to make the job easier.

Sills are £50 each, with some welding. I have a pair here if you need them in a hurry.

Any Omega you buy is likely to need that, so fixing yours is a better idea.
