Speedo/rev counter
« on: 26 May 2018, 21:24:28 »

The day the new radiator went on the speedo and rev counter stopped working[but the rest of the dash did]tried re-seating the clocks to no avail, checked all connections etc in engine bay that might have been disturbed during radiator job, checked the three plugs near battery as suggested by DG.All of this resulted in speedo/rev counter working most of the time but not always. What I have now found[as I've been using it all the time while the V70 has been out of action]is that if I push the brake pedal before turning the key and then once the warning lights come on I pause for a count of two before actually starting the car the speedo/rev counter work but I must do both the pedal push and pause then they don't. ???
