All systems go in the Tilbo household today ,SWMBO has worked very hard with her packing & sorting out to date have made £1238.00 selling bits of tat on eBay & social buy & sell sites.Removal company turned up bang on time so  all being well should be sorted around lunchtime .Lots to do in the new house first job is to get the back of the house double glazed & new doors on the garage .

Yes, wishing you a smooth move with minimal problems. :y

Very cathartic getting rid of excess trappings. We did that 15 years ago although judging by the fact that we still have at least three boxes unopened since we moved , we perhaps could/should have got rid of more. ;D

Indeed, hope it all went well for you!  8)

We're shifting most (hopefully all) the non-essentials to storage this weekend. Reckon we're about 5-7 weeks out.

Here  I am , all went well smooth as silk removal men were excellent pretty warm in these parts today so kept them well hydrated ! Very pleased with the house met some of the neighbours who seem very pleasant can't wait to start. Improving the house lovely place but neglected 12 months time the neighbours won't recognise the place.

Congratulations, Tilbo. Glad the move went well. Here we are, 12 days after our move, blinkin' boxes everywhere!!!!!
Had a landscaper round today, to price up for slabs, decking, and a bit of Astroturf. :y

Know what you mean about boxes terbert , we've got them everywhere ! Lots to do here to get it how we want it as well SWMBO & our daughter were cleaning the kitchen till about 1am this morning,.to describe the previous lady who lived here as a lazy bitch would be a massive understatement, but it meant the house was undervalued by around £40,000 so it was an excellent purchase, we think we may stay in this one if all goes to plan.

Expect an unexpected visit at some point.  As long as you've unpacked the kettle.
