. For their annual air show, the bigger/faster stuff used to operate out of Yeovilton. The based Hawks also can heave trouble getting back in with bad weather and winds from the wrong direction.
It is St Mawgan - I think the runway has been slightly shortened since the RAF left and handed it over to the council, but it's still 9000'. Virgin Galactic/ Virgin Orbit want to base a 747 there and launch satellites using rockets carried under the wings from 40000+ feet.
