Its  actually her amp for the guitar I bought her. I very rarelt play these days. Lost interest a long time ago.  ;)

Albs, I should have a spare 6V adaptor here; if/when I find it, it's yours.

ifyou don't get sorted Albs  . . .I have several knocking about  . . .

Problem is getting one to you at the north Essex outpost  :-\

Adapter says polarity  - then a kind of circle thing then +  amp says the same, so can blast the neighbours with 1 (yes one) watt of noise.  :)
Thanks for the help everyone, apart from STEMO obviously who can far cough. :y :)

9V centre-positive AC-DC adapter, then.. Amazon, eBay etc.

My mistake, I mis-remembered without going back to read the original post!  :-[  I could well have a 9 V adaptor, too: I will go looking tomorrow.

Does it need to be a regulated power supply? or does the amplifier have it's own smoothing / regulating circuitry?
