Tailpipe finishing
« on: 30 June 2009, 18:37:04 »

Guys,

Got my eternal system and, while it is perfectly acceptable, I have been pondering about using some of that hi-temp manifold spray to give the back box a matt black (or possibly silver / ally) finish to make it still look decent in a years time.

Nasty idea or does it have some merit? It's gonna need some de-greasing first though!

A very good idea, Hammerite will stand a lot of heat, although the back box does not get that hot. ::)

I got some nice chrome trims in Lidl. 6 quid a go.
