I changed the drop links and front roll bar bushes today.  I think the drop links were original, It took me about half an hour per side to undo the siezed nuts on either side and my shoulders are killing me now!  Putting the new ones on was a doddle and took minutes.  It's made such a difference to the ride, no chattering sensation through the steering wheel when I'm going down the dirt tracks we call roads now!

As soon as you find that a droplink nut won't turn easily, cut it off. They're not worth spending any time on.

I would have but I couldn't find my hacksaw!  :-[

Fixed that for you. A few seconds per nut, and the links fall on the floor. You could be drinking beer less than ten minutes after cutting.

The only angle grinder I've got is big enough for cutting flags and fenceposts!  If i'd stuck that in the wheel arch I'd probably be shopping for a new strut!  ;D

A real mechanic would have put the car back together and driven himself to the hospital in it :)

No major damage, just a crease and bulge in the bumper. Crash bar straight, park sensors ok. :y

Also put some electricity in the off-the-road TBE, and some air into the Battlebus, which is what Mrs TB is having to use until such time euroshite pull their lazy finger out.

Last week i  changed the timing belt with at my 4 pott limousine. Only 5.000 miles on the counter, but 5 years old.

A new cat and new wheels are waiting for assembling.

MOT is in July, but everything else is OK, i did a great revision two years ago. No welding needed!

Actually it is too hot to work on the cars. I should look after the AC next week....
