a/c problem

hi i have the omega cdx 2.2 and the air con stop working the pump is not working at all some one said to me its the pressure switch so i put a meter on the wire that gos to it when i press the on button in the car for the air con i get power to the pressure switch but sill the pump not work but if i pewer up the wire that gos to the pump the pump works but sill the aircon dont but dos that min the pressure switch is gone and if so do u no how much they are and do u lose the gas out of it i just had it regased ty for your help

You need to get the refrigerant pressures checked and topped up if necessary. If you are lucky it has just lost pressure over the last few years but there could be a leak somewhere.

hi no i just had it regased and he looked at it he says it all ok but the pump dos not work when u put it on so thats y i think its the pressure switch gone there is power going to it but not comeing out of it to the pump if i bye pass it it works the pump but sill not works the aircon but dont no what othere sulf the  pressure switch  dos ty

Bit suspicious that it was low on gas, and the pressure switch is duff and the pump doesnt work...all at the same time.

Time for a second opinion?

i got the car about  august time the aircon not work so i got it regased it worked good but onlt for 4 weaks say so i went but got them to c if all the gas has gone but he said no all ok its wireing pob so somethink gone so i c the pump was not working at all to so some one said put a wire to the wire on the pump c if it works then so i did and it works ok then he said c if u geting power to the pressure switch if so that is what is gone i just wanted to no if any one has done one of the pressure switch to c if u lose all of the gas or not and i just hope that this is ok after this
