identifying camshafts

Any way of knowing which is inlet and which is outlet ? Someone  ;) I know forgot to label them as they were taken out lol

Ive yet to see one with the fabled paint codes.
OK...look at the camshaft front bearing, the shoulder immediately rearwards of the bearing journal will have a letter and number engraved in the edge, a clean with scotchbrite may help.
The letter is the cam type refered to in Marks link, the number is a batch or grinding machine number.
