Lol...this is another example of poor decision making by Rover.....I seem to recall seeing two types of management systm on K series units.. lucas and Mems.

Trouble is that the Mems system is home brew (and is as bad as the digifart on VAG's).......should be OBDII.......

I believe all the later ones were MEMS (probably cheaper being in-house) - certainly the workshop manuals (dealer ones - she used to work at Rover) only mention MEMS on 25...
