Title: New Member - Potential Owner
Post by: Callum Carr on 12 March 2018, 12:42:53
Hello all, thanks for letting me join the forum.

I'm not currently an owner of an omega but there is a possibility I could become the owner of an X reg facelift 3.0 on 80K miles later in the year.

I have grown up around several senators over the years but know relatively little about omega's so would like to get to know what I could be getting myself into!

The car would become a daily driver of around 20K miles per year so i'd like to get an idea of the reliability of them.

I've been driving a 2007 1.8 Astra Design for about three and half years (my first car) which is on it's last legs so a big luxury cruiser is looking very appealing.

Thanks,

Callum

Hello and welcome to OOF :y Check any potential purchase everywhere for rust[rear arches, front chassis legs where the subframe attaches for two]cam belt change history is important other than that regular basic maintenance should see it reliable.Really nothing much difference to any car.
