V6 estate ( just testing the water )
« on: 31 January 2012, 16:40:35 »

As above

There is a good chance i'll be sending my current mig ( the shed ) to the great scrap yard in the sky during march / april so i'm just testing the water on this   :)

Must be a v6 as i'll be riping the gas kit out of this shed and transfaring it over to the new motor  :y
I would prefare a manual.
Not too fussed on age or spec ( I can always add bits as I go along ) but the cheeper, the better   ;D ;D
Some ticket would be nice so I can drive it home without getting nicked  :y ;D
Recent cam belt change would be nice.  :y
I can sort out most other stuff myself  :y

Anybody on here thinking of selling up ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Steve,

Do you recall my "old" red CD Estate? Well, it's up for sale. My mate who bought it wants to move it on as he has no income due to being a full time carer & hasn't used the car for months.

2.5 Auto 1998 - S Reg. 102k. Masses of work done on it. Cambelt/waterpump/aux belt was done @ 99k with cam covers/plugs in July 2010.

Full leather, Bose and sat-nav & HIDs/washers, Cruise. Had auto gearbox s/w upgrade done. Also has Parrot bluetooth kit fitted. Recent autobox fluid change. Decent tyres. Wishbones and steering idler done. New GM front shocks, followed by WIM alignment. Exhaust done in 2009 @ 95k.

No tax, but MOT until the summer.

The car is in Luton and hasn't turned a wheel for quite a few months. Only bad bits are that it could probably do with a new thermostat - it runs ok, but is either a bit too cool or hot, has a crack in the windscreen - it's horizontal under the wipers, but has passed the last 3 MOTs like that, could probably do with a replacement battery due to lack of use as it's only done 3k since July 2010.

PM me with an email address if you are interested & I'll send you some pics.

Cheers - Rob

I'll pm yeh in a few weeks Rob when i've put it through a MOT and found out what it needs  :'(

Changed that pully but its looking like that whine was both utility and cam belt  :'( :'(

If I can get another years ticket without spending too many pennies, i'll swallow hard and get the cam belt done  :y

On the 9th May, I can tell the reciever to pish off and see if I can get the business up and running so I have to have a reliable car before then  ;)

Thanks mate for the offer  :y
