Cracked screen.
« on: 18 May 2018, 16:39:41 »

Bummer............but it happens. :y

So the good Doctor is now £75 more impoverished than when I got out of bed this morning.

I have a chip caused by a large stone from a lorry that has now become a curved nine inch crack that they inform is too large to fill with resin.

I had a new screen on my last MV6 come to think of it. ::) I thought the all-conquering Signum would be made of stronger stuff.

Every time I feel a tingle in my groin, I just look at your avatar Opti.  That soon makes it dive for cover.

I had a new screen in my omega, thing is having booked it in and everything I was slightly irritable when I was told it would be an extra £25 for a fitting kit??
It’s fair to say I got it done elsewhere for £75

Given the contents of that kit costs way more than that and doesn't respond particularly well to being removed and swapped to a new screen more than once... Don't be disappointed when I say 'I told you so' when the trim comes away on the motorway ;)
