Hello
« on: 25 November 2014, 23:38:51 »

I've thought Omegas were smart cars for a long time, and now I've got one, and joined the forum - hello!
Its a 2.2 CDX auto.
I was a bit worried about buying such an old car to begin with, especially as its a bit lacking history, but it seems OK. It has one or two usual niggles.
One thing I would like to know about if anyone can help is the car has the habit of holding on to first gear for too long when you have just climbed a gentle hill? The changes seem OK otherwise.
Still the smartest cars on the road!
Cheers Stuart.

Hi Stuart, Welcome to the OOF.  :y

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Hola! Welcome to the forum :y

You will get a better response to questions if you post them in the appropriate section e.g. General help for gearbox. (It might need a gearbox change of oil and new filter/clean filter)
