I've had a closer look now the deluge has ended. It appears the locking tab (clip?) is either missing or broken on the passenger side and maybe loose on the driver's. Do these tabs come with the blades?

My wipers have a habit when on of occasionally touching in the middle and as a result the passenger side flicks over. I think either a clip is missing or worn on the passenger side unit, but I am worried about damaging the screen.

Is the whole wiper arm arrangement available as a spare part, off the shelf? Where to source? OEM? Can anyone on here supply?

Anyone else had a similar problem?

Last week. Radiator replaced, new shocks and cam belt changed by Master Serek at SOS in Huntingdon. Good job. Top man. 

Oh and a couple of weeks before corrosion and dings all over attended to locally. Ouch. But looking better now.

Got the car back from body shop yesterday. Corrosion on wheel arch sorted and dings, scratches elsewhere done at same time, while we were on holiday. Looks good now.

Thanks STEMO. Not sure what my needs are yet. Impulse has a lot to do with it. Wife complains about my old Omega. Things are changing in my life (employment) and I am getting on. I might need a newer car. Tough choices.

Picked up car from Serek in Huntingdon after service and mot. Top job and top man.

Had an Insignia while he had my car. 2 litre diesel turbo. Not bad. Might have to think about getting one. Any views?  I had one of the early ones before and was not that impressed but now I might be interested.
