Went to the tyre place and had the four Neuton NT5000s fitted in the interests of scientific endeavour and so I can give a long term running report to you all. Not because I'm too tight to buy real tyres. Honest.

Got to laugh at the hopelessness of the bloke air gunning the nuts up and then getting the torque wrench out ;D

Oh and had a good look under the car while I was there, and checked the pads - rears look brand new, fronts are erm.. 'gnats wotsit' thick  :-[ best I put those pads I bought a couple of months back on soon! ;D
Be interesting to hear another person's feedback... I'm not sure I'd buy them again at the moment, but I'll reserve judgement until after I've done the suspension work

Fitted the other wishbone finally. Bit of a tweak and now appear to finally have a straight steering wheel. First time in years !

Lucky you, even WIM didn't get mine straight ;D
Wim have never got mine straight. Question is should I let them loose on it? :-\
At over £100 per corner for tyres :o you know you need to ;)
yep, except I am fitting Polly soon, and I can't fault the way the car drives now. Some tram lining due to old bridgestones currently fitted with about a mill of tread above the wear indicators. No pull, straight steering, even tyre wear...

Local independant tyre place has two of my freshly refurbed wheels ready to be shod with Continental SC3's. Might have to book the MOT for it now.  ::)

Had the body repair bloke out to repair 2 areas of broken paint and 4 dings on the Omega and a big scratch, 3 small scratches and 2 dings on her Panda. Both look good now and all done at home for 2 cups of tea and £280. Well pleased :y

I'll let you know - they felt alright on the way home, but it's not very far from the tyre place and the weather was fine & dry.. foreacast to honk it down with rain for the remainder of the week so I'm about to find out what they're like in the wet!

I'm sure I'll eat the inner edge fairly quickly anyway, because I know what I'm like when it comes to getting jobs done (how long have I been meaning to do the wishbones? 6 months? ;D), so it may not be too great a loss if they turn out to be awful.

Pity I can't afford two for the front this month! Mind you, the DTi will need some fronts so my plan is to put the fronts (SP Sport Maxx) onto the DTi then buy two more SC3's for the other pair of refurbed wheels....

Just exhaust, Steinmetz springs, Bilstein shocks etc etc to go on now....  :-[ ::) ;D

well,  i've had mine a month or thereabouts...

sorry to say, not impressed,  won't be buying again....

okay, if not stellar in the dry.....  but wet....   rubbish....     my previous tyres,   cheapo admirals , were far better, and they're not amazing themselves.

New wiper blades all round on the Corsa and the Omega. GM ones fitted instead of the horrid clunky Ebay Aero wipers.

Much better  :y :y
