this number is for a power steering pump & apparently was updated to end with 551. it comes complete with its housing or mounting unit. what I wish to know is it compatible with a 2.2 dti omega.  :-\

According to epc yes will be suitable, also fitted to Vectra b.

yes that's what I was led to believe. I found a French site that stated its a Vectra b pump. retailing at £ 967 + vat. ( but not available ) found one in Glasgow for £125. but wasn't too sure if it was compatible.  :y
