Weight! They are very light!

;D

Plus they are likely to stay where you have hammered them in and not move when the ground is waterlogged and its very windy.......i bought some 10in plastic 'T' shaped pegs, for 'just in case' last year after the destruction of my previous tent.....the metal pegs kept getting pulled through the ground in the wind  :'(
Wonder if thats why they supplied them, as the tent is supposed to be able to survive a force 10  :-\. If you can get the pegs in without breaking them, that is ;D

Breadcrumbs thrown on the neighbours roof when there are seagulls around is an interesting sport to play while you eat your breakfast.

A little problem that may have arisen is the lack of a large BBQ. Previously, we had always managed to use the services of Chef bob.dent, or the BBQ of dad1uk.

Anyone going have a BBQ that they don't mind the group using in the evening?

If you've got room in your van, Mr E, I have a two burner bbq, i think similar in size to your bbq, that could be used.....I just havent the room to bring it, with a 14kg gas bottle. Theres not a lot a room in the back of these Octavia estates!

Looks like Mr and Mrs G will be dropping in over the weekend on our way to Tenby.  Something to do with a small swim, a little bike ride and then a jog around the park.
